Where do you turn?
Sometimes it is difficult to know, especially when new, if the information you are being given is accurate. Gut feelings, conversations with other drivers and your own knowledge can lead you to believe that you’re either being lied to or conned into doing something illegal. It may feel like no one cares about your licence or the passengers and their safety. Where do you turn?
I can’t sit here in Southend behind a monitor and say, “yes” or “no” to you on the condition of the vehicle or even your driving hours, what I can say is what the Police, VOSA and the DSA will say. You are the driver, you are the Captain of that ship and it is your call. Don’t let other drivers load the gun for you to fire; you have to make the choice and if you have been trained properly, you can.
If you have confidential information about illegal operations or defective motors that you are too scared to pass on yourself send it to me. I can guarantee it will get to VOSA. I cannot promise that they will act on it but I will pass it on and send you confirmation that the information has been delivered.

To add weight to your claim, ask other drivers to email us as well if there are several of you experiencing problems.
